Role Summary and Impact

WPP Media Hong Kong is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Social Media Assistant to support a key financial services client. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our brand safety and reputation management process. You will be responsible for conducting thorough background checks on third-party influencers (KOLs) to ensure their values and public image align with the client's stringent corporate standards, thereby mitigating potential reputational risks.

This position offers a valuable opportunity for a current university student to gain practical experience within a leading global media agency and contribute directly to high-stakes client work.

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive social media and online profile reviews across specified platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Google, Baidu, Xiaohongshu, and WeChat.
Perform detailed online searches to identify any news, affiliations, or other potential risks associated with prospective influencers.
Analyze and assess influencer profiles against a detailed set of vetting criteria, alignment with corporate values, and partnership history.
Meticulously document all findings, prepare clear and concise vetting reports summarizing assessment outcomes for review by the Team Lead.
Assist the clients team in maintaining an efficient and accurate workflow for all third-party vetting procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university.
Strong understanding and active use of a wide range of social media platforms and search engines.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in analysis and reporting.
Proven ability to be reliable, self-motivated, and manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
An objective and analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret and apply specific guidelines consistently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) are highly preferred.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position requiring availability for two full workdays per week, specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
